What aged players are appropriate for this program?

Players 21+ are eligible to participate.

What time of the year does this program run?

Season runs mid-April through middle of August with the playoffs targeted to begin in late July pending weather.

Where are games typically held?

Games take place across lower Manhattan at East River Park and in Brooklyn at Commodore Barry Park, Prospect Park and McClaughlin Park.

Does the league have umpires?

Yes, the League hires independent umpires, and the umpire fee is included with the team registration.

How many games will they play? What days of the week?

Teams will play 11 games over the course of the season Monday through Thursday.

Are jerseys required?

No. It is suggested that all teams wear the same color shirt, and it is encouraged to have a team jersey, but not a requirement.

Are there playoffs and what is the structure?

Each team makes the playoffs unless disqualified per the rules.

Playoffs are single elimination until the finals which is a best of 3.

What costs beyond registration fees should be expected?

Teams are required to have a catcher's mask, softballs, bats, glove and bases including a home plate.

The team fee covers the first 18 players with any additional player being $20.
